Do you use custom fields in your QuickBooks company file? Did you know that you can import data to any of these custom fields with Transaction Pro Importer? In this post we will show you how to import data into the custom fields.
On the first screen of Transaction Pro Importer for QuickBooks select the options button.
Then select the advanced tab and select the first option, “Enable custom fields defined in the QuickBooks company file.” Then select the save button.
When you get to the Transaction Pro Importer mapping screen you will see that the custom fields are at the bottom of this screen with the following prefixes: cfc- (customer), cfv- (vendor), cfi- (item). The custom fields need to be activated on the template within Quickbooks pre-import.
